Γιαυτό και έστειλα την εξής απάντηση στους Γερμανούς:
Thank you for your time and effort to direct my complaints to the source. Unfortunatelly the people from BMW Hellas, called me on the phone and we had a small "talk".
Since you took the time to help me, I consider my obligation to inform you of any progress on the subject. The local ΒΜW Hellas person that called me tried to persued me that:
-There is no problem with the stock seat no matter what I or everyone else of the F800/650 GS I meet say
-One of his many unlucky remarks was that you can get a num butt on a normal ride even if you are on a 1200 GS!
-And the bikes configuration for off road use made the design so uncomfortable.e couldn't explain though how would one drive the bike to the off road location if he can't sit on it for more than 30 minutes.
-The price of the comfort seat at 100 euros more that elsewhere in central Europe is normal because of the VAT difference and the cost of shipping of their seats and other stuff via airmail!
After all that I am sorry to inform you that I will have to search for other alternatives with any aftermarket item about my BMW bike. Although I still think that the after sales and tech support is part of its price and the prestige of its brand.
I will probably go for a seat outside the official BMW circle -Telleneile or something like that sells it for 250 euros and the transport cost is around 20 euros (funny thing!)- and you will just add me to the "unhappy customer" list.
Thanks Again
