It is also true that - again in 2005 - then Prime Minister John Howard gave government support to spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. The next part of the message transcribes what is claimed to be a speech delivered by Julia Gillard detailing her policies and thoughts on immigration. The piece calls on immigrants to learn English, adapt to Australian values and lifestyle and pointedly reminds them that they always have the right to leave if they are unhappy in their adopted country.

However, the quoted words were not uttered by Julia Gillard and were circulating in various forms years before she supposedly said them. In fact, the words were originally intended for an American audience and were part of a longer piece penned by Barry Loudermilk, a US Air Force veteran and columnist for a local newspaper in the American state of Georgia. Loudermilk wrote the article as a means of expressing his personal views on patriotism and immigration in post-9/11 America.

The article struck a chord with many readers in the US and elsewhere and it soon spread far and wide via email and other means. At some point, versions adapted to Australia, the UK, and elsewhere began circulating.

Σωστά τα λέτε παίδες, αλλά στις καραβιές των κάθε καρυδιάς καρύδι λάθρο, και στις ορδές που περνάν τα σύνορά μας απ' όπου λάχει, δεν περιμένεις τον σεβασμό, τον επιβάλεις! Αλλά ...

1) Η Πρωθυπουργός της Αυστραλίας δεν έκανε τέτοια ανακοίνωση.

2) Οι αυτόχθονες μιας χώρας (π.χ Ελλαδας) που δε τη σέβονται πρέπει να αποχωρήσουν κι αυτοί γι αλλού?

3) Στο υποθετικό σενάριο που έκανε αυτές τις δηλώσεις, κατά πόσο μπορεί ο εκπρόσωπος ενος έθνους που ήταν μειονότητα πριν 200 χρόνια και κατάφερε να επιβληθεί με εκτεταμένες σφαγές των αυτοχθόνων να ομιλεί περι σεβασμού?Η αλλιώς, εάν μια μειονότητα κατάφερνε να επιβληθεί με τη βία και σκότωνε τους αυτόχθονες τώρα Αυστραλούς θα ήταν πίο θεμιτό από το να διεκδικούν να εκφράσουν τα ιδιαίτερα φυλετικά ή αλλά χαρακτηριστικά τους ειρηνικά?

Αυτα, κι επίσης δεν ψηφίζω ΣΥΡΙΖΑ,χαχαχα!!

Η δήθεν ανακοίνωση της Αυστραλιανής Πρωθυπουργού είναι ΨΕΥΤΙΚΗ!!!!

Προσέχετε πάντα τι σας (μας) πουλάνε και τα μηνύματα που θέλουν να περάσουν πίσω από αυτά... Και τσεκάρετε πάντα τέτοιες δηλώσεις, είτε πολιτικής είτε κοινωνικής είτε τεχνολογικής (πχ ανακοινώσεις για ιούς κτλ) φύσεως πριν τις αναμεταδώσετε σε φόρουμ, facebook ή ακόμα χειρότερα μέσω email σε όλες σας τις επαφές. Ένα απλό googlάρισμα τις περισσότερες φορές είναι αρκετό.
